Italian restaurants, sub shops, calzone counters and Italian delis sit next to the pizzerias on this site because most of them bake pizza too, often from the same dough. Full-service Italian restaurants take reservations for dinner, add a tip line for table service (15-20% is customary) and usually run a cheaper lunch menu on weekdays. Sub and sandwich shops are counter-order and quick, with sizes by the inch or in half and whole lengths. Calzones and strombolis are priced like a medium pizza and are large enough to share. Italian delis and bakeries sell by weight and by the piece, and many close mid-afternoon.

Hours are published for 6 days a week. On most of those days it is open 11 am–9 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (336) 885-0762. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, giannoshp.com.

Amazing. Now my new favorite Italian restaurant ever! Food is delicious and affordable. Pizza and salad bar is great options during the week. Service was perfect. Very helpful and friendly. Spinach dip was phenomenal. Had the chicken picata. Wonderful! Can't wait to go back and try more.

Large portions of food considering the rise in pricing since our last time here about 6 mos ago. We’re from out of town. The red sauce was a little too sweet I like a good typical marina. I had eggplant napoleon. Hubby baked spaghetti. Brother had chicken Parmesan. Baked spaghetti had a bit too much onion flavor in sauce for us. The rolls & butter were much disappointment compared to good Italian bread & oil. Not great with our meals. Overall ok but not as good as they were our last visit sadly.

Hands down the best mozzarella sticks. Really really wish they had their broccoli cheddar soup more often, and red pepper smoked Gouda soup! ): Mango spinach salad is soo good!!!

This place is definitely worth a stop. They don’t take reservations and the wait can get pretty long at times, so it helps to plan ahead or come prepared to relax for a bit. Once you’re seated you’ll find a huge selection of classic Italian dishes to choose from. Share the appetizers with your table. Almost every meal ($30 range) comes in extra generous portions, plus your choice of soup or salad and a bread service which definitely makes it a really good deal for what you’re paying. I have to be honest, I ordered the veal piccata and it tasted a little bland and under seasoned for me, but that could have just been the specific dish I picked. The variety on the menu is impressive enough that I’m sure there are plenty of better options to try. Everyone else I had dinner with loved everything they ordered. Service is fast, the waitstaff is kind and attentive. I’ll certainly be back.

Our waitress was fantastic. We had refills before we even thought of asking. The food is on point! Three of our party ordered veal dishes and the veal was all cooked perfectly. My husband had the scallops and they were fantastic. The Italian margarita was a fun drink with the addition of limoncello in it. The Manhattan was good too. Would definitely come back when visiting again!
